Why is it that your friends' boyfriends and girlfriends are magicians? They're not even talented magicians. They only trick they know how to perform is how to make your friends disappear. I know everyone has had one friend like this. A new significant other comes into the picture and all of the sudden, your friend is nowhere to be found.

There's nothing wrong with spending time with your significant other. In fact, I would encourage my friends to spend time with their significant others. That's what makes them significant. The problem is when all their time is spent with that person. It shows where the priorities lie.

Friendship is something that I don't take lightly. If you're going to commit to friendship, stick with the commitment. Don't flake out because you found something more interesting for the time being. Don't ignore friends just because you have a new boyfriend or girlfriend.
