People who smoke are stupid. That's all there is to it.
The addiction is irrelevant. Smokers put themselves in the position to become addicted. I'm tired of people not taking responsibility for their actions. Stop trying to sue the tobacco companies. It's much like the fat people complaining about how McDonald's made them fat. Most people would tell them to take the burger out of your hand. It's no different with smoking. Take the cigarette out of your lips.
Get your cigarette smoke out of my face. Then the smokers complain about their rights to enjoy and practice their lifestyle. What if my habit was to scream at the top of my lungs for five minutes at a time? I bet someone would tell me to stop, but why is that? Is it because my habit affects more than just myself? It
affects those around me too.
If you started long ago, you may not have known about all the harmful effects, but you're still stupid for smoking. I don't know anyone that took their first drag on a cigarette and liked it. People turn green, they cough, and they puke. How stupid do you have to be to know that it is bad for you? Just look at every other example of smoke that we encounter. When you are around a campfire and the wind shifts and blows smoke into your direction, you move! Every animal knows instinctively to run away from smoke. How stupid do you have to be to hold a
flaming stick that close to your face, let alone inhale on it?
Another thing that pisses me off about smokers is the fact that they get smoking breaks at work. I don't get to take these breaks! Why am I being penalized for my healthy lifestyle decision? If I were to ask for a Coke break, I would get yelled at by my boss I'm sure. I would be told to drink my soda at my desk and get some work done.
